Installation/Update

Install or update the SpiderControl MicroBrowser with update.sh script

$ cd $HOME $ wget -O update.sh http://ininet.ch/delivery/Ubuntu/x86_64/update.sh $ chmod 755 update.sh $ ./update.sh $ rm update.sh

But the simplest way to update the MicroBrowser, if the update script is already available in your installation directory, is...

$ cd $HOME/MicroBrowser $ chmod 755 update.sh $ ./update.sh

VNC client

VNC URL looks like "vnc://192.168.1.123/"

vnc://hostname[:port]/[bpp[.depth]]/[password]

Optional parameters:

port default port is 5900
bpp is either 8, 16 (565), 32 (888) or 0 to use the default parameter from VNC server
depth it depends on bpp. Supported values are 16.15 (555), 8.6 (64 colors) or 8.3 (8 colors)
password if need, it must be defined after the pixel format (bpp[.depth]), to use the default pixel format, set bpp to 0

If the configuration is supported on VNC server, the best choice for high-performance is 16 bpp (565), for example

vnc://192.168.1.123/16/raspberry
